Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani

Hyderabadi Biryani is a dish from the down the south of India and spread all across the country and even abroad.😾

Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken
  • salt
  • Ginger Garlic Paste
  • Red Chilli Paste
  • Mint Leaves
  • 1 kg rice
  • Coriander
  • Turmeric powder
  • Yogurt
  • Lemon
  • Saffron
  • Oil
  • Sticks Cinnamon
  • Cardamom Powder


Method

  1. Clean the chicken and add chilli Powder, Coriander powder, Ginger Garlic Paste, Salt,Turmeric powder,Chicken masala, saffron and yogurt.
  2. keep aside for marination
  3. Put oil and fry finely chopped onions till it gets to golden brown in color, Remove the Oil
  4. Put the marinated chicken in the removed oil.
  5. Cook rice in another vessel add bay leaves salt and let it cook till rice are half boiled.
  6. cook chicken and add mint leaves and coriander
  7. Add half boiled rice and fried onions layer by layer (rice then chicken rice then chicken) and cover the vessel so that pressure does not go out.
  8. Reduce the flame and cook for another 30 mins.
  9. finally add lemon juice mixed with turmeric powder on the top.
  10. Enjoy your chicken biryani
