BUTTER CHICKEN


Butter chicken is probably one of the best known Indian Dishes after tandoori and tikka masala. Its a superb blend of spices and the result is mouth watering.

Ingredients
  • 1 kg chicken
  • vegetable oil
  • onions
  • ginger and garlic paste
  • butter 100g & 3 tbs pouring cream
  • corriander
  • lemon juice for marination
  • garam masala
  • chilli powder
  • coriander seeds
  • cumin seeds
  • whole cloves 4-5
  • cinnamon sticks small size
  • cardamom
  • bay leafs
  • yogurt

lets start cooking
  1. Mix lemon juice, yogurt,garam masala, chilli powder cumin seed and coriander seed together in a bowl and mix the chicken pieces well and keep it a side for 1 hour.
  2. Roast whole cloves, cinnamon stick,cardamom bay leaves until golden brown in color.
  3. Heat the oil in a large pan. fry onions along with ginger garlic paste until brownish in color
  4. The add chicken pieces , leave the marinade mix aside.
  5. stir fry the chicken until its white.
  6. Then add Roasted mixture of dry spices(whole cloves, cinnamon stick, cardamom, bay leaves).
  7. add butter and cream reducing the flame to low heat, stir for few min and garnish well with coriander leaves
  8. serve hot along with rice or roti.
